How to connect a PS5 controller to a Mac, iPhone, iPad or Android
Every one of these pairs the same way: put the DualSense in pairing mode, then pick it in Bluetooth settings. Open this page on the device you are pairing, and the box below turns green when it works.

Follow the steps below, then press any button on the controller. This box turns green when the connection works.
Put the controller in pairing mode
With the controller off, hold the Create button (left of the touchpad) and the PS button together for about three seconds, until the light bar starts flashing quickly. You have a minute or so to finish pairing before it stops.
Mac
Open System Settings › Bluetooth (on older macOS, System Preferences › Bluetooth) and click Connect next to DualSense Wireless Controller. macOS Big Sur 11.3 and later support the DualSense.
You can also plug it in with a USB-C data cable; Safari, Chrome and Steam for Mac all see it.
iPhone and iPad
Open Settings › Bluetooth and tap DualSense Wireless Controller under Other Devices. It needs iOS or iPadOS 14.5 or later.
To remap buttons for games, go to Settings › General › Game Controller. To unpair, tap the ⓘ next to the controller in Bluetooth settings and choose Forget This Device.
Android
Open Settings › Connected devices › Pair new device (names vary a little by phone maker) and tap the controller. Android 12 and later support the DualSense fully; older versions may connect with some buttons mapped wrongly.

Questions
Why doesn't my DualSense show up in Bluetooth settings?
It has to be in pairing mode, with the light bar flashing quickly, not just switched on. Hold Create and PS until it flashes, keep it close to the device, and make sure it isn't reconnecting to a PS5 in the same room.
Does vibration work on iPhone and Mac?
Games built for Apple's controller support can use rumble. Browser support varies, so the vibration test on this site may not play on Safari.
How do I reconnect it to my PS5 afterwards?
Plug it into the PS5 with a USB cable and press the PS button. It pairs with one device at a time.
Can I use a PS5 controller with PS Remote Play?
Yes. Pair it with your phone, tablet or Mac first, then open the PS Remote Play app.
